Mother's Day

I had a wonderful first Mother's Day with all my boys (Chad, Evan and Palmer)! We started the day off with breakfast from J.Christophers. Yum! "Evan" bought me a frame and another photo session with Katherine Birkbeck. And thanks to Chad's big winnings in Vegas, he bought me the Bose portable sound dock I have been drooling over for about a year (which we will soon be able to enjoy outside in our new backyard. More on that soon in another post.)

After breakfast, gifts, and a nap for Evan, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to view the new Canopy Walk that opened last weekend. The canopy walk was cool, but I much preferred the edible garden and the orchids. The botanical gardens was a beautiful backdrop for photos. Oh how I wish I were a better photographer. Most of my pictures were overexposed, but we were able to wrangle a guy who looked like he knew what he was doing to take a family photo.

All in all it was a great day! I love that little boy so much. How could you not with a face like this?
